Binocular help

Hi guys, looking at grabbing some binos. Could use a little help.

I'd like something with a rangefinding/mil reticule in it say 7-10x.

Reading on wikipedia Porro prisms seem more desirable from a light transmission viewpoint compared to roof prisms. So it would seem to me that I'd want that (?).

Can any of you make a recommendation? Mil-surp would be fine also. Thanks!

I went with M-24 binos and I love them. Mil reticle and can be found all over the place.

I have a set of Steiner 8x32R's - very nice.

Had I seen the nice brand new in the bag M24's that are often on sale in the glass for sale section of this forum I probably woudl have went that way.

Bought some IOR 7x40 binos with reticle. We'll see what they're like when they get here.
