Binoculars: Tract Toric 12.5x50 Athlon Cronus 15x50

I took a chance on the Athlon Cronus 15x's and couldn't be happier. They punch well above their price point for binos. I use them for spotting at matches nearly all of the time and they work perfectly. I got mine from Cameraland and they will do Hide members right. I would give them a hard look...

I have read tons of good about them. Decisions, decisions...

I should have a set of the Cronus 15x56 in my hands Monday... I'll take my tripod and phone mount to work and try to get some pictures through the binos (if I have time. It's the busy season at work. power plant offline so gotta get equipment fixed).

I forgot to grab my tripod and phone mount before I left for work. I will take some pics tomorrow night while we are shooting.

I'm going to start off by saying I really like the Athlon Cronus 15x56 binoculars. I spent about 25 minutes spotting this evening while a buddy was shooting his 223 Remington. The closest target is 294 yards and the orange gong was 695 yards.
As you know, pictures through optics are never as good as they are in person. Please don't judge the binos performance based on the attached picture.
Conditions were 92* and 58% humidity. Mirage was easily seen and trace was easily picked up as well, despite my buddy shooting a 69gr bullet.
The binos offered a bright, clear image and excellent edge-to-edge clarity. I found them easy to get behind even while wearing glasses (I had to turn the eye cups all the way in). They came in a nice, padded hard case that included a tripod mount. These will be replacing a pair of Bushnell 8x42 Legend HD with ED prime glass. The FOV is a bit narrower on the Cronus, but its not missed in the style of shooting I partake in.

Here is a link to a video taken through these binos. Be sure to have your device set to its highest resolution.

I waited for several years, hoping Athlon would bring a pair of 15x56 binos to market. When Leupold lowered the price of their 15x56s by $250, and I had over $250 in Cabela's bucks on my account, I pulled the trigger on a pair of BX-5s. Would really like to get together with friends who have the new Cronus & a pair of Swaro 15x56s to compare. I've owned my Leupold 15x56s for about a year now, and have been very pleased with them.
