Anyone know where a poster who goes by the name Birddog6424 works? I know he works at a gun store -somewhere- out there, and I've got a question for him regarding the Burris 1-8x scopes, but with the transition back to the original snipers hide, I can't seem to track him down. Thanks!

Have you used both reticles in the newer 1-8x? Im curious how the illumination compares between the two. Is the larger open horse shoe in the FFP version easier to see when on 1x, and using it as a non-magnified red dot?
If the illumination brightness shows equally well in both, I think I might prefer the bdc reticle in the SFP version. Can you comment on that?

IMO, the RFP illumination is like an Aimpoint and is much brighter than the FFP illuminated reticle. It comes down to preference and are both fantastic options, give us a call at 916.670.1103 for hide pricing and I can get one out the door for you today
