I was at a local gun club this weekend that had a manufacturer show and a name new to me was at the show "Black Rain Ordnanace"

I was VERY impressed with their specs with Billet everything, outstanding fit and finish with lots of really well designed billet extras, .223 Wylde 1x8 stainless polygon rifled barrels... looked really loaded and impressive for a sub $2000 rifle. The rep said they would guarantee 1/2" MOA with match ammo. Anyone know anything about them?

Re: Black Rain Ordnanace??

Couple of guys in Neosho, MO designed and outsourced billet uppers/lowers with tight tolerances and have a great fit.

I believe they will soon have an AR10 version as well.

Choices of finish color in anodizing.

Maybe someone else added the rest of the parts and bbl cause I have not seen them do that yet. Great work, don't see how you could go wrong with their uppers/lowers.

Re: Black Rain Ordnanace??

Thanks.

It was up here in Omaha at the event and they were all Black Rain Ordnance polo shirt logo'ed guys from the company. They said they were showing were "new ready to roll complete rifles"... so I guess they should have clarified that we were probably the first to see their complete rifles.

Now that I think about it and look over their site, they may be making their own barrels, however pretty sure they are sourcing Lother barrels since specs match up closely.

They were also showcasing some water pattern dipped skull and camo parts that had a ceramic overcoat as well. I may have to add them to my shopping list it was very nice Mega Machine level stuff.

Re: Black Rain Ordnanace??

Like most everyone else in the AR industry, they are NOT making (manufacturing) any part of it. They have outsourced all of it. That I am certain of. Its rare to find someone that actually does more than just assemble AR parts that were purchased from someone else.
