The 18 inch length allows the user to mount a bi-pod very close to the muzzle providing superb stability for the shooter. The M-lok attachment system allows the user to attach a sling, light or any other accessory underneath and on the side of the rifle.
Additionally, it has a picatinny rail section under the forward portion of the rail with a 10-32 threaded hole so mounting bi-pod directly to the picatinny rail or a bi-pod stud is incredibly easy and strong.
