Picked up this Bobro compact dual lever mount off ebay, went to mount up my 5-25 pst and can't get it leveled because the turret body under the paralax knob hits the mount.
The way I see it my options are scratch this one and go a different route, but I can't find another qd one piece that will drop the scope as low as this one (just got rid of the Larue that was used with this scope), or chuck it in the mill and shave a little section off under the turret body.
Anyone else have this issue? I really like the mount, so leaning towards clearancing it to work.
Also, I see they spec the levers to be one one side or the other, but if there's no cant does it really matter which side they're on? If I moved them to the right side that would give significantly more room to operate the paralax knob.

Bobro mounts have a little spring loaded nub on the cross bar that goes between the pic rail slots. This nub is to keep the scope pressed forward against the cross slot of the rail. This is important for the scope maintaining zero shot to shot as well as returning to zero when dismounted and remounted. This cross bar looks like it is just held in place with screws and that it could be reversed. This is not the case though. The cross bar is press fit and then held in place with screws so removing it to reverse it would be quite difficult to do without damage. As such, the mounts are really one directional.

As for milling the mount to make room for the saddle section, you would have to ask the Bobro folks about the advisability of thinning that section a little bit.

Thank you Jim, I had noticed that the cross bar looked like it was split in order to keep tension or something of the sort, thanks for that new info.
I'm going to study the mount a bit more today and see what I can come up with.

Did some more investigating today, just decided to mill it out, has a little clearance to spare now.
Not the easiest mount to level with given that you can't get under the turret body and level off of it while in the mount.
    Pics attached.

I'm curious if the 34mm version would clear a razor 4.5-27 now, I'm on the hunt for a lower mount for it as well.
