Here is some info and photos of my Bobro 34mm Extended Precision Optic Mount - 0 MOA, it is offered in a 20 MOA version. Note the production version has lightened rings and machined a middle groove that allows easier access to the forward lever when you have gloves on.

The fit and finish of this mount is second to none. As you will see below, the engineering in this mount is unparalleled.

I must apologize up front for the photos.

The center line of optic to top of rail is 1.5". The mount was designed this way so it can be used in conjunction with other systems (night vision, thermals etc.).

The riser is unitized (one piece) with the base. The primary reason for this was to get the rings lower. An additional benefit caused the cantilever start from the base which improved the strength/rigidity of the mount. Once installed, this helps the scope become part of the structure. This strengthened cantilever design allows the scope to survive impacts.

The length of extension from the base front is 2.0". This gives users using a non-monolithic 5.56 upper more flexibility to mount a BUIS and have the correct eye relief. 7.62 users should have enough room on their uppers.

The Bobro Lever, Auto-Compensation (BLAC) lever system is the same proven setup that provides a rock-solid mount on any 1913 specification rail.

Specs: Length of base is 4.5" / Distance of rings - outside to outside is 4.95" / Distance between rings is 2.97" / Ring width is .990"

nice! i was talking with andrew a couple days ago about these, and when hes going to get the ultra low 1 piece mounts out. right now hes just got the 2 pieces that will start shipping monday.

Andrew really bailed me out with one of these. In putting together the 1-8x review I found that I had one more 34mm optic than I thought at the last minute. I shot him an e-mail and more or less begged for something 34mm to put in the 1-8x review and to do a review of. I wasn't even sure exactly what was going to show up as he was a little coy with what features he had added. What came was the one piece base mount with substantial drop forward you have pictured. It has been a pleasure to work with. Upon the conclusion of the 1-8x testing I'll send the Bushnell that is mounted in it back, put in a USO 5-25x, and do a proper review of the return to zero function. I just loaded up the ammo last week.

Here is a pic of the new Bobro with a Bushnell 1-8.5x in it:

Can you expand upon this? Are there ultra low versions of these coming out?

I'm still waiting for the Aimpoint Micro version to come out.

raider1v1 - I was surprised when I called and realized to whom I was speaking. I have been impressed with Andrew’s attention to detail which is exemplified in his mounts. The wait for these mounts has been well worth it.

hk dave - I think everyone will also be happy with his T-1 mounts. The mount pictured is a rear serrated 1.5" high version, which is a lower 1/3 co-witness. There will be a rear serrated 1.4” high version, which is a true co-witness. During testing, Andrew added the rear serrations to cut down the glare from light hitting the rear of the mount. Just one more mount left from my Christmas wishlist : )

Ring - Andrew advised the 35mm version is forthcoming.

Jack Leuba from F2S Consulting aptly describes Andrew, as “outgoing, thoughtful, modest dude, and that means a lot to me in regard to folks in the industry”. I have been consistently satisfied with Bobro mounts. At this time, there is no QD optic mount that I hold in higher regard than the Bobro family of mounts.

Jack also provided the following additional comments regarding Bobro mounts:

Bobro mounts provide a consistent return to zero.

The BLAC levers are designed to neatly tuck away to reduce snagging and the secondary retention latch prevents the latch from opening even if snagged. The BLAC simplifies swapping optics from gun to gun without having to make any adjustments for tension on the rail.

About the only criticism is that the unit is relatively heavy, but that is a bit like criticizing an M1A2 for being heavier than an MRAP. You cannot expect increased ability, robustness, and tool-less design without a weight increase.

the mounts arent on their site yet, just call and ask to order one, they are currently rolling off the line.

the 2 piece ring is 1.20-1.25" high. he doesnt have a set retail price, but just give him a call on monday and he will be able to tell you. thats what he was intending on taking an order.

i am waiting for the 1 piece ultra low mount that hes going to make but doesnt have a date for yet.

He has always made great mounts.
Just never made enough models.

Agreed. If he made more models, I'd probably switch everything out to Bobro, including my bolt actions. Would love to store my scopes separate from my rifles.

I am in line for a set of the two piece ultra lows. It has been a bit of a wait, but dealing with Andrew is a pleasure. At one point during my wait I asked him why didn't he sub out some of the work. Andrew replied, "it would never work, we are too picky, I don't believe anyone else would meet our quality standards." I have not received my rings yet, but it seems to me Andrew knows who's name is on the product and and wishes it to reflect that. BZ to a good old fashion made in the U.S.A attitude!!!

Today I got my new scope and it has a 50mm objective. Any suggestions on which one of these I should get? This is going on a SCAR H.

What is your new scopes main tube diameter? The Mk6 in the top photos is a 34mm. Andrew makes mounts in the different diameters - 30mm, 1 inch, 34mm, and 35mm.

ETA - I forgot to add that he offers his mounts in a 0 or 20 MOA configuration. With the SCAR H, you will probably want the 20 MOA.

To be safe, I would call him and tell him what you have to be sure.

Attached are a few more photos of the Bobro T-1 mounts. I decided to try the 1.4” absolute co-witness.

The next photo shows the height difference between the 1.5” lower 1/3” co-witness and the 1.4” absolute co-witness relative to my rear BUIS.

The next two photos show the perspective of the T-1 with and without the BUIS.
