Note the barrel "stub" that the collar rides over when chambering a round.

The collar on the end can be switched for a chamber adapter.

The bolt is a bit dirty

but look at how unique the design is. The upper won't work with a standard AR bolt like the Spike's or the Tactical Solutions will. The charging handle is shorter than stock. I switched to a Badger GenII latch as a Gunfighter does not fit. Thsi rifle is an absolute hammer.

All three bolts together for comparison

All run well. The TS22 took some break-in and likes the Federal 525 bulk pack ammo but once broken in it runs well.

Pat, that's a fantastic review. I've been hoping to see something like this for a long time...thank you.

If you are starting from scratch...which one would you prefer. Which do you find the most reliable? Accuracy (if tested)?

Best,

Max

Nordic Components is a hammer and judging from other's remarks on this forum mine is not a mistake. It took 8 months and constant bugging to get my 18" NC-22 upper. The Tactical Solutions is most likely the easiest to get and works fine. Spikes got out of the 22LR business ...for now..so you would have to find new old stock or buy used.
