i have a remmy 700 sps tactical, floated bbl, jewell trigger set to 15 oz, tacops bolt knob, falcon menace 4-14 on ss rings and a 40MOA nightforce base. (i know why 40?....there were no 20s in stock...)anyway its a great little shooter and yada yada yada. i was a dm in the marine corps but we never played with bolt actions and this is my first real precision bolt gun. ive had it for over a year now and its shot very well for me but just wondering if i can get it better...
my question is while im snapping in right after i squeeze the trigger, my bolt will fall just a little further that what i can push it down. is it normal? bad? i dont notice it when im shooting obviously but can it throw off anything?
