That is very debatable depending on who you talk to. The truth is I've seen rifles with the factory sloppy bolt that shoot crazy good. Same with rifles using a tight fitting PTG bolt. The PTG bolts have a more precise finsh than a factory one, and can be ordered with extractor options, and as a one piece bolt. You can have whatever clearance you want in a higher quality bolt too. Would I do it for my rifle??? All day long.
