bore guide?

Guys you are missing the point of a bore guide.
Not only does it keep the rod straight into the bore, it prevents all the solvents from loading up the action rails and most importantly the trigger (which seems to be a sore point here) with crud and when it drys or gets gummy fouls the trigger.

How's the Dewey bore guide?

I have one, works great. It came with my rifle along with a Dewey rod.
All my other rods are Tipton, and all my other guides for bolt guns are possum hollows. All work great.
I also have a shit ton of Otis gear I use in the field or on the range. Takes longer, but works well.
