Gunsmithing Bore/Lap 30mm to 34mm Rings

Hello Hide. Question for the Smith's. Is it possible to take a pair of 30mm scope rings and Bore and lap them to 34mm? I know rings need enough material to enlarge but if it does , doable? If you could do this please send me a PM. Thanks in advance

Anything can be done if you throw enough money at it. Why don't you just buy 34mm rings??

I have not seen a quality scope ring that had that much excess material. Machine work is not cheap. Your rings will have some resale value so new rings for the win.
