Bought a bore scope. Had this barrel (criterion 6mm creedmoor.) sitting around for a few months before I put it on my action. Went out and shot it. Put about 10 rounds through it.
Cleaned it with a cleaning jag, bore paste, and cleaning patches. Is this rust?
I get so much conflicting info from my local gunshop. They say never use a brass brush and just do it the way I did it....they also sell custom jags, bore paste, etc. What's the best way to clean a barrel, and best way to clean a barrel and remove that?
