bottom metal for howa 1500

I have a howa 1500 in a b&c stock that has already been skim bedded. i bought new bottom metal so i can use the removable magazines. i was told there will need to be "some inletting" to make it fit. What exactly does that mean? dremel, file, sand paper? i am trying to figure out if i can do it.

DaveX you are correct Sir! But i dont know how to move it and i dont want to get yelled at for posting the same thing in two sections.

Maybe a mod can move it?
