Does any one produce a bottom metal which accepts dpms lr308 mags for a short action Howa 1500. I have several of these mags and would prefer to not have to buy something that only accepts AI mags, not that there is anything wrong with these other than at 80 bucks a pop I will not be tossing those away.

CDI precision makes a fine DBM that will accept AICS mags, it is not particularly expensive and Jeff will inlet your stock for $60 if you send it in to him. Also there is nothing wrong with the AICS mags, they are probably some of the finest mags made, and accually cheap when compared to the TRG mags,... To my knowledge there is nothing made for and bolt action that will accept AR 10 mags.
