Bottom metal for Mac A5 stock ?? Is badger still the Goto?

Im switching up some stocks and just bought a McMillian A5. I need some bottom metal. I've always used badger but have friends that say the stealth m5 is just as good. Also, anybody used the new enhanced Badgers? And anybody have them in stock ? Long action for 300WM.

I have the PT&G Stealth on two stocks, an A5 & an A3-5. They both work great and look good, offering side support to the magazine as well. Less expensive than badger as well.

I have three of the PT&G bottom metals. One is the stealth and two are the flush M5. I agree with Fursniper. Less expensive and just as good.

Thanks a million. I bought a stealth. Im getting a stock inleted at McMillan, can I tell them its a badger bottom metal. Is inletting the same?

Why tell them it's a badger if it's really a PT&G? I mean the outline could be just slightly different, you don't want any gaps, right? They have the programs for all the commonly used DBM's, so be specific with them.

I told them it was a Badger / Stealth A5. I just called to double back, and was told it was the exact same inletting. I was worried that Mcm might not know of the Stealth A5. But whatever, thanks for the feedback. I can rest at peace for now.
