Bought a Marlin 922M

After looking at it for a few weeks I bit and bought this rifle.

Marlin 922M .22WMR
Cost me $400 but I liked it, they ain't making no more and I've seen a few go in the $450 range. The rifle is 90% in condition. I don't think it has been fired more than a dozen times. Now I'm having trouble bringing myself to even put the rail on top to mount a scope. I think it needs something in the 2-5 variable range what do you guys suggest? Got a box of 30gr Vmax that I want to try out. If they shoot that's what I plan to run through it.

I think you got a pretty good deal on that rifle. I have one of the older H&K semi-auto 22 magnums. And a friend has one of the older H&R's. If you remember the one they had with the diamond in the stock.

I hope the one you bought shoots and functions well for you. We had a few problems with the H&R, but the H&K does very well. Good luck to ya. Tom.
