I’ve wanted a good quality 1911 in 45acp for quite a while. I broke over and ordered a Dan Wesson Specialist in stainless off gunbroker. Would rather have had the duty black but I can always coat it if I desire, doubtful though. I should pick her up tomorrow. Can’t wait!

Good timing. I recently changed a planned future DW purchase to sooner rather than later. There seems to be some uncertainty with the future of DW pistols. Might be something, might be nothing.

(though I ended up buying used, so it didn't matter anyway)

Hopefully DW stays in business. If CZ USA would have produced the DW/CZ collaboration pistol they would have a winner for sure.

send pics in of your new toy yea it's always a beautiful moment that a person gets there new gun like all the stars aligning in the heavens ...

nice!

i always wanted a long beach operator, but i don't want to add another caliber to have to hoard. :p

Nice! I traded a shotgun for a CBOB with the intent to sell/trade it off for something I had more use for. That was 12 years ago and I'm still smitten by it.

Oh yea DW love.

I have two DW revolvers, one was hand timed by Seth Wesson and is a .44 mag. The other is a DW .445 Supermag and then my PM45 that I shoot in Single Stack Major for USPSA.

I just purchased a Dan Wesson Kodiak 10mm. It shoots great and very happy with it. I had a Glock 20 and it just wasn't fun to shoot. Now the DW is a pleasure to shoot and very accurate.
