Finishing up the selections for my Hill Country Rifles build. Going with a 24 inch benchmark barrel, mcmillan a 3-5, Timney trigger, and will probably stick with remington action because I like the angle they eject the case. Will thread the barrel for a 30-p1 and am finalizing the contour. Will go with a 1-8 twist. I am going to use Badger DBM just because I'm comfortable with it.

I am going to stick with a Timney trigger since I have one on my hunting rifles, but really torn about using a Jewell.

Love the hunting rifles that they have built and am looking forward to this build.

Thanks. I'll stick with that.

I also liked the Creedmore in the end because I wind up gravitating to Hornady ammo if I don't load my own. I also like Nosler and Nosler now makes ammomand brass for it.

Finally, my smith said that they have had a lot of luck building consistently highly accurate rifles in that caliber. I've seen that the Hornady loads are awfully good, so it made a lot of sense to me.
