I am not familiar with the size of a Surgeon 1086 action vs Rem 700 SA action. How much difference is there between a Surgeon 1086 /Badger M4 bottom metal and a Rem 700 / Badger M5 bottom metal. My action is a Rem 700 SA and I have Surgeon M5 Bottom metal. So is it a SA size or LA size stock? Thank you.

The 1086 is a long action.....the Badger M4 is a "BDL" style floorplate.

Your current set-up will not work with this stock, sorry!!
