Brass still good?

Shot a little in a field around July and today I went back to pick up any brass that might be laying around. I’ve picked up about 50 cases so far. Some on top of the dirt, some half buried. They look a little dark, not that nice new brass color, no signs on corrosion on most of them. Any reason this brass might not be good anymore?

Not that im aware of.....clean it up and load it

Be sure to get any dried up mud left inside, out. I had it happen with some .223 cases didnt find it until I tried dumping in powder.

Soak in water and wet wash without pins first.enouhh to make sure dirt is mostly out of cases
Second wash with pins.

I hate pins but nasty brass gets clean with it
