brass with out flash hole

    i have some brass that don't have the regular flash hole.
    i was wondering if anyone has seen this before.
    head stamp R1M1 A80 7.62

    needless to say i broke a few decaping pins before i realized what was happening.

    Interesting, you've never seen a Berdan case before? That's what you have. Most European brass and brass made outside of the United States is Berdan primed.

    You have a South African 7.62X51 case.

    Dont even waste time researching how to reload it. Decapping, finding primers, is all a pain in the azz. Just drop it all into your brass recycling bin. Bout the only thing that brass is good for is making dummy rounds. Full length size it without the pin and then seat a bullet.
