brass

Re: brass

Hi! and your question is?

Both are good brass, they just have military capacities, and to get some consistent loading you need to resize, trim, uniform the primer pocket, deburr the flash hole, outside chamfer and deburr the case neck. Not like you wouldnt do this with all brass, but i take my time with military stuff, just to be sure its all in good condition, some brass is 20-35yrs old...

experience has shown me that military brass is rough on the reloading bench. It is good it came from a bolt gun, FA guns chambers are very loose so there is a lot of case body expansion. You will need to eat you wheaties to resize it!

HTH :-D

Re: brass

No question....just put this up as a point of info.
please note in that post I said no primer crimp. This should lead one to think that this is not your usual military brass,
People are always looking for a source of brass, I found some, and wanted to let the Hide know about it.
