  • Major highlights from this latest disarmament clusterfuck in California:

    · Coworkers, teachers, employers/employees can now red flag you.

    · Private gun sales limited to 5 per year for any individual.

    · No more 80% lowers and other "firearm precursors", whatever the fuck that is.
    smiley_freak.gif

    · Instead of the previous $100 limit on CCW licensing fees in any jurisdiction, the limit has been removed, allowing jurisdictions to charge whatever they want. Extra funds to be used by the state for "gun violence research and awareness programs".

I'm sure @Gunfighter14e2 will know a lot more about it than me, but I'm guessing the powers that be around the world aren't totally happy with folks having a method of communication they can't shut off or censor at the press of a few keys.

That being said, the above is one of the reasons that repeaters are of little interest to me, I'm more interested in what can be done direct point to point without relying on stuff that someone else controls.

sure am glad i do not live in California already this year i got 7 new guns and one more on the way bad bad me lol

This is a test case for the rest of the US. The puppet masters probably figure CA won’t be as messy as many other states.

I apologize to the Californians that are members on this site but fuck CA. That state has been a breeding ground for communism and it has spread across the country. CA is a cancer on the US.

I’m sure anyone on this forum that’s behind enemy lines has a good reason. Family ties would need to be re evaluated though.

Liberals are a cancer to the US. I'm stuck behind enemy lines until I find a decent job out of state. Sadly, there seems to be no state without liberals and illegal aliens.

As to the communication post, CALFire won't fund the HAM antenna repeater sites anymore and repeater owners will now have to rent the land its on. Its just the Govts way of controlling communication.
As to the precursor parts question, that is basically AK flats and 80% AR receivers, although I'm sure they and the ATF will find a way to screw us and make the definition to include uppers, triggers and the like. Goes into effect 2024.

There is a concerted effort to slow down Ham radio in this country, but many people are pushing back ,..hard. The powers to be what to control all comms an have installed shills in many places to do just that. The interesting thing is they (shills) don't know jack about radio an have to use a flow chart just to try an keep up. At least with Ham radio you have total control of/over your station, unlike repeaters where your just a fan in reality. HF comms is where it's at for truth, VHF & UHF are ok for short distances but, HF opens a whole new world. Nothing like getting first hand info from an eye wit from across the ponds & then read the state run medias report. Some funny shit at times, an out right lies most other times.

It's really not that beautiful... Seriously overrated place

Don't suppose any of you guys remember shooting the skip with a 5 beam horizontal and a whip in the center at times connected to an auxiliary power box only to be turned on after seeing all lights in the neighborhood are out for the night?

Interesting listening to Cuba from Kansas when stuff lined up just right.

You could roast a chicken 2 foot from our home made box.

And the mobile units were pretty strong as well.

Those days the candyman was not so well equipped and well watched.

Hell we would drive to conventions, jamboree and party.

Electronics were so much simpler then.
My dad would hand me a burnt out tube and a couple of bucks. I could get on my bike ride to town get a candy bar and new tube at a convenience store. I was even taught to use the tester they had.

My head was on the swivel for the candyman at all times.
Government plates, blackwall tires and several antennas.

    Fit right in. Lol

I like to watch "Key Downs" from afar. There are some stupid people on this rock that must like to be cooked from the inside out. When you have 10KW of generation under the hood an key up an then realize you did not switch on the high idle control an kill the engine that's a clue to some to stand way the fuck back. However there is always some braininess rocket engineer, that will stand near that invisible death ray just to prove his point. You can tell them about RF burns until your blue in the face but it's like an electric fence, they just have to pee on it just once their self,... some more than once.

There's a part of me that really hopes this state splits up.

    This sentence right here:

AB 1493 by Assemblymember Philip Ting (D-San Francisco) authorizes a person who is the subject of a gun violence restraining order to petition to submit a form to the court voluntarily relinquishing their firearm rights.

Perhaps that sentence is written very fuckedly, but if you're under a GVRO there is absolutely nothing voluntary about relinquishing your firearm rights - those rights were taken from you by the state. And if you "petition to submit a form to the court" that says "I give up my firearm rights", does that make the GVRO magically disappear? Gonna guess probably not.

Perhaps these state legislators should write laws making PG&E upgrade their shitty infrastructure and keep the lights on for their state's citizens (and undocumented migrant residents).

Yep. "Authorizing" the "subject of a GVRO" to petition to "voluntarily" surrender his guns is adding an insult to injury.

Basically the same thing as a prison rape account I have read about long ago when a couple of inmates gangbanging another one forced the victim to face the cell entryway and jerk off so that others passing by the cell and witnessing it would think that he liked it too.

Don’t do that! Californians will just spread them around like a plague of locusts after their state is completely destroyed.

Californians are already a plague! I realize there are a lot of good people in that state who share the same values as a majority of this board's members, but the rest are quickly spreading to other states. They voted for the idiocy you see in California, get sick of the results, then move to other states, but continue voting for the same types of crap that caused them to flee California in the first place!

Are you sure that's wasn't a scene from some hot Man on Man porn movie? Sounds kind of like the plot for some of them....

Same here in Colorado. I've been here over 20 years. When I first got to Colorado, it was firmly red with pockets of blue in Boulder and Denver. As more Californians decided they'd had enough of the shit they caused themselves and infested Colorado, we've swung to being a blue state. The liberals in Denver control what the rest of the state does and we've become Calirado. Denver has become a mirror image of San Francisco, with exorbitant rent prices and homeless crapping on the sidewalks to match.

It was an online transcript of an interview they had with the author of the novelized documentary Fish: A Boy In A Man's Prison. The author was a fifteen year old Texas kid in the 1980's when his "friends" gave him an imitation pistol and told him to rob a grocery store for shits and giggles. He did exactly that and his buddies had long left the scene as police response was almost instant. At the trial, the kid insisted that "it was just a joke", but the judge had not been amused and gave him 7-10 years for armed robbery...

That bit in my previous post was what the author recalled witnessing in one of the cell blocks. It was two Hispanic dudes buggering some skinny, nerdy looking black kid.

They are a brilliant bunch.... Turn off the power to avoid wildfires, yep looks like it worked great. Now you've got 100k refugees and the store shelves were cleaned out before a single fire started. I whole heartedly want to believe the Dems controlling Kommiefornia are inept but the coincidence is just too strong. I've no idea what they are testing or trying to accomplish but anybody still in that state should just bend over and say "BBaaaa!" Sheep being conditioned.

Funny, we say the same thing here. All the fuckin’ “Zonies” come out here on vacation, can’t drive for shit, drive under the speed limit in the far left lane, and then get pissed when folks honk because they’re driving like douchebags, snarling up traffic.

Never mind the blindingly pasty white, disgusting fat bodies that pile out of the cars when they rear end someone because they’re busy looking around instead of paying attention to the road...

Up here we have to put up with tourists from all over “the outside” or lower 48. Y’all are preaching to the choir. I’m getting pretty good at guessing what state they are from. At least up here as opposed to Texas, I don’t deal with as many illegals. And all tourists and a good percentage of alleged alaskans leave for the winter to give me space.

I won’t disagree that people in AZ can’t drive for shit, but the pasty white fat body comment doesn’t fit my experience here. Zonies visit, it’s an annoyance, but still a vastly different problem than people who invade the state and demand it change to fit their ideals then vote in the same fuckwads that ruined their former home.

Even people who move here with the best intentions can’t help themselves. I run into people at the range or a gun shop. They talk about how great AZ is and how glad they are to be out of CA, then proceed to ask stupid questions about carrying or related to private sales. They always respond with some dumb comment about how AZ rules seem unsafe or irrational compared to CA. I always remind them that that bullshit is why they moved here and not to ruin it by voting for democrats.

I live in Flagstaff, our real estate market is retarded due to the influence of CA cash being dumped in. People from here are not able to afford to live here any longer, median home price is $416,000, median income is $48,000 (which buys a $259,000 home if you have no other debt). This year alone three homes on my block that sold for over $500K have been purchased by CA people for their college kids. AZ is turning purple and probably blue soon enough, thanks CA...
