I've tried google searching the lyrics and have come up repeatedly empty handed. Due to the accent in the song and the fact that it is featured on a video portraying a British surfer, I'd suspect the song has its origins in the region.

Song starts at 0:21

If you like Uncle Tupelo, Old 97's, early Wilco, etc...you will dig this.

"ionosphere".

Can't believe I can't find any lyrics via google search. odd.

Has a very Uncle Tupelo feel. I think it's funny their style is called Americana when all the "americana" songs are just variations on old songs from the British Isles.

Many thanks.
