I have a Bergara Premier Ridgeback ,maybe my loads were too hot( Book Max ) But fail to extract fired case ,broke the extractor . Is ordering one from Bergara my gunsmiths only option ?

It's come to my attention as of late that the Begara OEM extractor is a bit of an Achilles heel. At the request of a client we installed one of our M16 extractors that normally goes in an M700.
This was several months ago and thus far it's not been an issue. Just another option for you. Happy to help.

I contacted Bergara and they're gonna send a new kit out for free. But reading your post sounds like that might be better. I fired 50+ rounds of this hand load in this gun with zero problem ? Also my gunsmith thinks the chamber needs polishing .
