At the range today I had a FTE. Never had a this happen so I look at he brass then the bolt. I see something sticking out the side of the bolt. It was one of the legs (for lack of a better term) of the firing pin retainer pin. Pull the bolt and sure enough both legs are broke off.

The pic above shows a new one and then the one I pulled from the gun at the range. The rifle has about 200 rnds down the tube. The BCG was bought complete and the manufacture shall remain nameless till I talk to them on Tuesday. Just thought I would share in the mean time.

Rifle is a 260 rem.
load was 41 gr. of H4350
140 gr. amax
Fed prim.

I have used this load and a fellow shooter uses this load.
