This is not a rant just a heads up for others.

I recently placed an order and used a promo code for 10% off plus free shipping. One item was backordered and the other item shipped, all is good. Get an email that my other item has shipped and my card was billed but no 10% off. So I call and talk to a nice lady and find out that promo codes can't be held on backordered items but still got free shipping. Second item was only $27 so only $3 difference this time, no big deal, but never had this happen anywhere else that I recall.

Now if I would have pulled the trigger on the 3 uppers from Seekins I was looking at and 1 shipped and the other 2 didn't that could be $600 and I would probably have a different outlook.

I had this happen a year or 2 ago where I ordered something at a blowout sale price and when it shipped, 2-3 days later, they charged me the price it was the day it shipped.

I called and sent customer service my order confirmation and there were no issues getting it at the original price.
 
That’s odd, I backordered a CZ mag on the 10% off day, and it came through just fine.

Never had a problem getting discount on backordered items. I have noticed though when multiple items in order, they apply full amount of total discount to first shipped and then backorder bills at reg price when it ships (you already got discount for it).

This. Where I have had trouble is getting orders to register with active junky an longer. I must have passed my limit or something.
