I don't know that you need to "do" anything to it. Use it for hunting anything from mule deer on down. I'm big into standardization: same actions makes life simple. I sold the one A-bolt that we had and now just have Remington clones. However, there was not a damned thing wrong with that A-bolt and the buyer is very pleased.
