Browning A-Bolt II .270 Ammo

Hey,

I was wondering what the consensus was on what grain weight is most effective to use at 100m 300m and 500m targets, when using a Browning A-Bolt II .270?

I have used )Factory load( Winchester Ballistic tips. 130 grain. Mine fly very straight in that exact gun. sub moa with factory gun and factory ammo. Good little deer rifle. Even though my son shot his first elk with it at 425 yards.

Sounds like the gun will work just fine at mid distances based on your son's elk takedown. I've been using the 130 grain myself, but the ranges around me only go out to a 100 yds and I haven't been able to test the Browning at farther distances.
