Anyone with experience please chime in. Which can did you use? Also my googlefu is weak in that I cannot find anyone who makes/sells a threaded barrel. Thanks in advance.

I have one - it works well . I use a Federal Ordinance barrel (no longer in business),with an SWR Trident . It requires the booster to function .

I made a can for my HP. I think it is not as good a host as others like a Glock due to the thin barrel. The aftermarket barrel I bought for it had about .1 inches of barrel unthreaded forward of the slide to index the rear end cap on.
Since I did not know how to make a recoil booster, I used a cut down 8 pound spring and hot 147 grain subsonic loads to ensure reliable cycling. This led to a damaged spring guide and the barrel/slide locking up too hard. It was probably due to the hot loads and no booster, but I have yet to repair it.
