Browning X-Bolt Varmint Special 1/10 Stainless?

LGS has one and I pawed it. .223. Nice, but I have NO knowledge on them. 1/10 is good for 55 grns.? but not heavier? Couldn't get the brain to fire/remember.[Could be age or medication] Looking for "another 223 bolt gun" besides my 700. Any input , as always. is appreciated.

FWIW, the X-Bolt Varmint 223 currently shown on Browning's website has a 1:12" twist.

Thanks, but this one is a" Varmint Special" X-bolt, with a stainless barrel, and a laminated thumbhole stock with vents in the fore end. Think the guy said it was discontinued. Looked it up and the specs mentioned a 1 in 10 twist. My Remmy is a 1 in 9, which I understand will not stabilize a bullet over 69 grns. I don't know what the limit of 1 in 10, would be.

I had to search several sites until I found an older review of the gun, which only gave the basic specs but no shooting review. Maybe I'll jump over to the reloading forum......
