Let’s just say I found a hell of a deal on one of my bucket list items; a Dan Wesson 1911. After the first range trip, this thing is never leaving my side. The only thing left now is getting my Obsidian can home and it will be a match made in heaven. Pics to follow.

I'm thinking about picking up a Dan Wesson one of these days. I hear really good things about them.

    Enjoy that 1911!

The problem with bucket list 1911s are that you'll get addicted and end up expanding the list after every purchase.

DW still makes one of the absolute best production 1911s out there. I picked up a lightly used Specialist two years ago for stupid money, and feel like I won the lottery every time I pull it out of the safe.

I got the Vigil suppressor ready. One of the easiest, stupid accurate pistols I’ve ever shot. I’m eventually going to get a Specialist.

The slide on my Dan Wesson PM-9 is so much smoother than my Nighthawk GRP Recon. It's like it is on Ball Bearings. Everytime someone racks that slide, they can't help commenting on it.

Shooting 1911s is a sickness, you keep buying a more expensive one, lol. Enjoy your DW
