Re: Buckmaster adjustment reliability
I like the Buckmasters scopes on my hunting rigs. Out of 4 that I have personally dealt with, 3 have been pretty good with tracking. One had a problem with not tracking well, then wouldn't hold zero. Sent it back, they sent me a new one. The new one tracked great until it lost zero again. Sent it in and they sent me a new one. Sold new one to a friend, works great. The two I had problems with were on a 300SAUM Remington model 7 with a carbon stock, maybe 6 1/4 lbs with the scope. I assume they couldn't take the recoil, I couldn't so I sold the rifle. Nikon never gave me any trouble when their stuff broke. Would I put one on a long range or target rifle? Likely not. Hunting rifles? For sure.
