as a new shooter to the long range game, what am I losing going with a cheaper pair of binos (Vortex Diamondback HD 12x50/Vulture HD) over something more pricey around $6-700+? I understand the clarity of glass, but is it going to be a huge difference? I will be using them for spotting for PRS matches, etc. Can I manage wih the cheaper binos as a start and upgrade when I figure this sh*t out? I am hoping to using the difference in pricing towards a higher end scope instead. -thanks!

can anyone chime in on how do these Cronus 15x fair against the Vulture HDs? or vise versaa? price difference is about $200 @ the moment.
