Considering a ProChrono Digital for a low cost chrono ~$105

Not using it for load development, just want to check MV #s when changing between new loads/lots.

My friend's LabRadar is awesome, but took a while to pick up suppressed shots (I only shoot suppressed). Wanted to make sure this one would work with cans.

I have a tripod/grip to hold it in place.

Would consider a Magnetospeed as well if price isn't too far out of reach. ~$160?

The honest truth is that because of how good/cheap electronics have become you are no longer paying for accuracy. They're all (even the cheap ones) in the +or- .25% range. What you are paying for is convenience. The Lab being the easiest and least hassle, the Magnetospeed being the next, and a traditional style, down range chrony being the most hassle to set up, to shoot through, etc.

Of course, the lab radar tracks downrange, and if you need that it's your only option, but for checking speeds SD/ES it's overkill.
I'm totally jealous at the range with all my BS I have to set up, and the dude next to me plunks down that LR and starts shooting. If there was any difference in accuracy I would jump, but I can't justify it when what I'm doing now works perfectly for the way I use it.
