I have a 7.62x39 16" that I have been shooting for years and it is pretty well decked out and runs flawlessly and 100% reliable to date. I have tried shooting it suppressed and it's just not working out too well as it is way over gassed. I thought long and hard about using an adjustable gas block but have decided against it.

I currently run a standard carbine buffer. Any idea on using a heavier buffer and which might serve me best?

Thanks, I will order one and give it a go.

Yes they are C Product 25 round mags. They work perfect for me! I use these and the 10 rounders. Not a single issue with them.
