I just finished up the lower for a MK12 build and noticed that the buffer spring is noisy and gritty sounding with I pull back the charging handle. I am comparing it with my STI lower, that when I pull back the charging handle is so quiet and smooth. Is there something I can do to help with that? Everything functions just fine. I put a little oil on the spring and that helped just a little.

Put a few drops of oil on the charging handle where it rides in the receiver. Put a SMALL smear of wheel bearing grease on the buffer spring.
SOP for any new AR build.
