Building an AR-10

I'm looking into building an AR10, and I seen a good price on AR(complete) that was in 7.62x39. I was wondering if I could sell the upper and put a 7.62x51(308) upper. Is that possible? Thanks

Nope.

7.62x39 = AR-15 platform rifle

7.62x51 = AR-10 platform rifle

The uppers/lowers are not compatible/exchangeable.
