Building AR's instructional material

I have decided that I want to learn how to put together AR lowers and uppers. What books or video material would ya'll recommend. I would like to learn to put precision uppers together. Thanks in advance. krw

Check out the AGI (Amer. Gunsmithing Institute) series of videos. Depending on your working knowledge of AR-type rifles, experience with the platform, etc., you may want to start with the basic like the "AGI AR-15 Technical Manual" video which covers basic function of the AR, general assembly/disassembly, proper maintenace, etc. If you want to get straight into building, then look at the "AGI Building the AR-15" video which covers upper and lower assembly, as well as barrel installation, head-spacing, etc.

Brownells has a How-to build an AR guide on their site for FREE !

You could also Google different aspects of what you would like to know as there are 100's of instructional videos .

Derrick Martin has a good book on Precision ARs. Also Zeidiker.

Is building AR-10 platform rifles like building oversize AR-15's? Will any parts besides the furniture interchange? Thank You Micheal N., the Brownells site was a good place to start!
