Range Report Bullet drop long range?

How much more does a bullet need to drop due to the curvature of the Earth at 1-mile (on land)?
My calculation is 5-inches.
At sea?

None??? It's already dropping, more things to worry about.

The earth curvature would be nill if you were shooting perfectly straight or any angles would be my guess.

But wikipidea says 7.97 in per mile...nothing to do with terrain though

5-inches for my distance from equator.

The shooter will do much more damage than that at a mile

Ok, so if you'er shooting prairie dogs in South Dakota and aiming east and west, just hold at his belly and you'll make a head shot. However, if you'er shooting north or south you will have to hold at the little bugger's feet ( the full 7.97 inches) to hit him in the head, at a mile. lol. Just messin with ya.
