Hi All

I need bullet jump recommendation for 140 class bullets.
My bullets are:

Hornady Match 140gr
Sierra Match King 142gr
Lapua Scener 139gr

I am running Lapua Brass WLR primers
IMR 4350 powder at 42.3 and 42.6 grains
28" CBI barrel, Savage Action
This pushes the bullets out of my gun at roughly 2730fps
Best groups so far are .6 MOA with .080 bullet jump
And OAL set to 2.800

This is the OAL to the lands for each bullet
Hornady Match 140 2.895"
Sierra Match King 142 2.903"
Lapua Scener 139 2.875

I am thinking of starting with a bullet jump of .020 for each bullet and working towards a smaller jump from that baseline.

Thanks,
Scott Griffin

Over on 6mmBR forum, there's an article quoting lots of champion shooters and for some reason, many like .017" off the lands.

Load some up at .005", .010", .015" and .020" and see what you see.

I was on board for the Berger .338" 250 OTM hybrids and only had time to fiddle with seating depth and as I got closer to my lands on the TRG-42, thing opened up a bit.

Not conclusive, or a large sample size, but it was interesting nevertheless.
