Range Report Bullet Pointing Question Horndy 6mm 105 BTHP Match Bullet

Figured this is the correct sub-forum, if not let me know...

Has anyone pointed the Hornady 6mm 105 BTHP Match Bullet? I just picked up 500 of them and figured why not run them through the pointer. They looked like they had been slightly point from the factory but after running them through a Whidden bullet pointing die they became more uniform.

My question who has pointed these, and what were your end results? I have not been able to find any information on pointing this particular bullet.

Add about 5% to the factory BC and it will be pretty close. You gain anywhere from about 4%-7% when pointing.

Thanks for the info. I had ready between 4% and 7% but was unsure since they appeared to be slightly pointed when I opened the boxes.
