Bullet Proof Vest Recommendations

I'd like to buy a reasonable new bullet proof vest rated for handgun bullets with the option to add plates in the front. I'd appreciate some suggestions.

Check Galls.com. They have some nice vests that are name brand manufacturer with Galls name on it. They sometimes run a 20% off all orders over $100 combined with a vest on sale. I got a level 3A vest for $450. Made by Point Blank

Not sure if you can add plates but I wear a Velocity Systems best daily and it is very comfortable.
