Burris 34mm XTR Signature Ring Torque Values?

Anyone know the recommended torque values for tightening the 6 screws that secure the top half of the scope rings?

You'd think that info would be included in the instruction sheet.

Your scope manufacturer normally has a spec, 15-20 in-lbs is a normal range.

Ah... Good point. I plan to review those instructions also. Today was quick mock-up to make sure everything fit & had adequate clearance.

Another potentially dumb question. Is there a preference what side of the action the ring base screws are positioned. I'm thinking from the left side, or opposite the bolt handle.

That was my thought. I was just wondering if there were any other reason that I was not aware of. Thanks.
