Burris BTH 35 Thermal Handheld

Any of you messed around with one of the Burris BTH 35 2.3-9.2x Thermal Handheld's? Saw that they were on sale for under $800 but out of stock already. Can still place the order for one while on back order and debating on getting on the list if it's good to go for the price. Will be used just for hunting purposes.

My friend has both the burris sight and scanner and seems to be pleased with them. I've never personally gotten to look through them yet though. Where are you finding this deal at?

Well now I've found it at some places for less than $700. Getting very tempted at this price. Wondering how decent it will work out for scanning up to 300 yards max.
