Have a chance to buy a demo Burris 2-8x35 it’s 9.75 inches long , I’m out of town for a job/ little bow hunting and can’t measure the spacing on my older Ruger M77 MK2 Long action I have a very light weight aftermarket stock on it and really like the dimensions and weight of this little compact Burris optic , anyone using one on said platform or in a position to measure for me - not interested in using Burris Ruger to Weaver rings , makes the optic sit a mile high . Seems I have some distant memory of another compact scope maybe a weaver not working in the space allowed with Ruger mounting system . Thanks in advance.
