Rifle Scopes Burris Tactical Rings ? GTG?

Hey all. I finally picked my glass and am on the hunt for a set of rings. I am looking for low rings to fit my 10X SS and my Badger 20MOA rail.

I have used Burris products before in their P.E.P.R. mount for a precision AR I built.

I really liked that mount and am curious on what their best set of rings are? I am looking at the 30mm Tactical series and they are very cheap in comparison to other brands I was looking at (TPS, Leupold, etc.)

Do these hold up well or cause any problems. Remember my build is not a top dollar build but more of a budget based build.

I currently have a set of them on my .243, which i turned into a semi varmint rifle. But i don't use it that much. My father and brother do and they don't take care of guns like i do. The rings seem sturdy enough for me. Especially for a budget build. I can't complain about them.

I have had a set for a couple years now. I never had any issues with them, but I got a wild hair to lap them, and found that out of the box, there was probably only 10-20% of the inner ring surface area making contact with the scope body.

Wouldn't hurt to lap them, but I also had no issues with them out of the box.

I got a set of these two weeks ago to mount a Leupold I had laying around to my ar to do some .223 load development. Pretty nice for the money although I dont know about lapping them but they shot true and gave me no issues so far on the ar. I've got about 500 rounds through it
