What would you do with your money?

It's not a question of what I'm going to use it for and all the variables...

It's just two scopes that are similar on paper and cost.

I guess I am asking about quality of glass and construction.

I do remember when Frank gave a positive nod to the original Burris XTR scopes.

Thanks to those that know. I sure don't.
 
Both are good scopes. Optically, PST Gen 2 is better and I prefer its tree reticle.

Mechanically, XTR II has been out longer, so there is more of a track record.

I agree with ILya. I will say this, the PST II 3-15x44 can focus/parallax down to 20yds which makes it a great option for close range work and the EBR-2C is a nice Chrismas tree reticle that doesn't clutter the view. By the way, where are you seeing the PST II 3-15x44 for under $790?

The Vortex PST Gen II does have nice glass, so I have to agree with Koshkin about that.
