So I have a Burris XTR III 5.5-30x56with the scr mil reticle, and I’m thinking about replacing it with the SCR mil 2 (Christmas tree) and selling the scope I have now.
I shot the Nightforce ELR challenge in Wyoming last weekend and feel a graduated tree reticle would have been useful past 1500 yds to quickly correct misses before the wind switched.
I have the Nightforce mil xt reticle and like it.
Fwiw I’m shooting a 6.5 prc.
What has been your experience? Also, any other scope you’d recommend? I’m very happy with the xtr iii compared and feel it compares very well against the vortex razor, and Nightforces. Being built in America is a plus for the Burris as well.
